Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to file a counter-notification. Please be aware that you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you materially misrepresent that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.

To file a counter-notification, you must provide a written communication that includes substantially the following information:

  • Identification of the material: Identify the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Your contact information: Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement of good faith belief: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled (e.g., "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material identified above was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.").
